Tart Cherry Gummies-2 Ingredients & 15 Minutes!

Not only are homemade gummies delicious and fun to eat, they’re also great for your gut health and skin! Ingesting collagen is great for helping skin stay firm and youthful. Although you can use any juice to make these gummies, tart cherry juice can be an excellent sleep aid!

I first came across making gummies as a healthy and natural way to ingest collagen-I’m all about good skin health from the inside out! And let’s be honest, there’s only so much bone broth one can drink 🥲

When I also learned about tart cherry juice being a great sleep aid, even for kids, I thought it would be perfect to combine both!

To make these gummies you only need two ingredients:

Tart Cherry Juice– or any juice of choice if you’re not making it for sleep aid

Gelatin-I use this pack of halal gelatin from Amazon

Tart Cherry Juice

First pour the juice into a pot. I use an entire organic 32 fl oz bottle.

Add gelatin to juice

Then sprinkle the gelatin over it and let it sit for 10 minutes. The gelatin will slowly absorb into the juice.

Allow Gelatin to Absorb Juice

Then turn on the heat to medium and begin mixing! It’s such a satisfying process to watch the gelatin dissolve into the juice as it heats up.

Turn on Heat and Stir Until Meltes

Keep stirring until all the gelatin is melted-but don’t let it come up to a boil.

Pour Mixture into Fun Molds

Once the gelatin is melted, remove from heat. I like to pour it into a glass measuring cup with a spout. That makes the next step easier-pouring the mixture into molds.

If you use silicone molds like I did (they’re easier to pop out once set) first place them on trays. Then pour the mixture into the molds and place the trays in the fridge. Set for an hour or two or until completely firm. Now they’re ready to enjoy!

Store in Airtight Container in the Fridge

I store them in an airtight glass container in the fridge, they stay fresh for 2-3 weeks! Enjoy 2-3 gummies every night before bed if you use them as a sleep aid, or throughout the day if you decide to use any other juice!
